Off to Seattle for beautiful views and fantastic architecture. Three clients on this trip so a big mass posting for the team. Each builder had some excellent work in a slightly different genre and I gotta say Seattle at this time of year is darn fine.

KC Mag; Chefs at Home - Anthem Media

What's better than photographing restaurant food reviews? Why it's photographing chefs at home! That rocks. Thanks to Blue Stem, the American and Room 39's chef owners for letting me come and visit them and photograph them at the dinner table. Thanks especially to Ted for teaching me the joy of bacon and brussels sprouts.

The Two Karens - Lore Magazine

This was a really cool shoot involving a wonderful couple of people. We drove out to distant Topeka and captured the two Karen's who between them run the Kansas Association of Realtors. We got to run all over the State Capitol and captured some great shots inside the new speaking chambers and the two Karen's were great fun to work with. Here's an on-line version of the article.

Mountain View Homes

Off we went to Laughlin Nevada - now made famous on TV! Great fun and a lot of really nice vacation homes. The only downside was getting wrapped up in time for the Rugby and watching England getting slaughtered by the South Africans...

The Residence - Hufft Projects

This is one of my favorite shots ever! Matthew and Jesse Hufft are wonderful people and incredible designers. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and I was delighted with the results. This is actually a private residence in Springfield (which always shocks people) and has been awarded a variety of honors and been published in several magazines. I can't wait for the next Hufft Project.

Real Deal Tattoo Convention - Rico

Rico is a really good friend of mine so I was very happy to offer to capture imagery of the first annual Real Deal Tattoo Convention. The event was a fantastic success and one that I can't wait to capture again in 2008.

Mike Murtha Portraits - MMC

A lovely location portrait session with a very cool guy. The story is that Mike has been archiving images from his high school photography library for many months and painstakingly placing them online for review.

Staff Portraits - Walton Construction

This was a really fun couple of days; Walton Construction had us capture every employee of the Kansas City office for use on their bid sheets. There were some fantastic characters and it was hilarious trying to get the Site Superintendents to smile!
