If you're going to be the owner of a leading interior design studio then you really should have a wonderful home - and this one is no exception. Full of gorgeous details and stunning vignettes one of my favorites was the skulls and antlers over the bed.

Modern Kitchen In Classic Fairway

I have a really long and wonderful relationship shooting architectural photography for Kansas City Homes and Gardens Magazine - they get access to some incredible homes and it's always a wonderful shoot so this project was no surprise. It's a kitchen interior that was part of a Hufft Projects renovation of the entire Fairway, Kansas home. The home owners happen to be the owners of Carthage Marble and needless to say the kitchen's marble countertop was an absolute masterpiece. The other beauty of the kitchen was the soft finishes of the dining area.

Leavenworth Apartment - Kansas City Homes & Gardens

I had a great shoot with the wonderful Andrea Darr of Kansas City Homes & Gardens; which was incredible fun having had a chance to be on their cover this month. The subject of the shoot was a unique apartment, home to Meredith Timmons, her lovely daughter and extremely photogenic cat, located in downtown Leavenworth with a fantastic photo studio, Misty Bull Photography, immediately below it. 007 Basement - Kansas City Homes & Gardens

Another fantastic shoot for the quite simply wonderful Andrea Darr and Kansas City Homes & Gardens. This time we got to photograph an incredible basement with all sorts of wonderful features; hidden doors, revolving drinks cabinets, a home theatre, a wonderful kids work room, a retractable flat-screen and a killer games room.

Pizza Bella - Kansas City Homes & Gardens

Food review time again! This time I got to go to Pizza Bella in the Crossroads area of Kansas City. It's a great space and the food is wonderful. Founded by the owner of 1924 Main and designed by Eldorado this is well worth going to.

Anderson Greenhouse and Phillips Condo - KC Homes & Gardens

We got to spend a whole day with Andrea! We started off with a beautiful shoot in the Anderson's greenhouse in Fairway and then had a wonderful afternoon photographing the interior of the Phillip's condo just above the Plaza. Beautiful projects and very attractive orchids.

Editorialtastic! Well, we got in a bunch of magazines this week and I'm very happy with how that turned out; as you can tell from the title of the post we ended up in KC Magazine with a great set of shoots on downtown Kansas City, a wonderful house by the gorgeous Sandra Joyce for Kansas City Homes & Gardens (in their spanking redesigned magazine), a great article on a really cool pharmaceutical firm named Proteon in Kansas City Business and then finally a luxury three million dollar home in 435 South Magazine. Not bad!

Wong Residence - Kansas City Homes & Gardens

This week we got a chance to work with Kansas City Homes & Gardens and photograph a beautiful interior located in Mission, KS. The design is a collaboration between Bill Poole at Driftworks and the owner Jean Paul Wong of Contract Furnishings; both with an eye for contemporary design. The result is two fantastic fireplaces and a wonderfully detailed finish.
